We have exciting news!!! Author Shoes now has it's very own Visual Merchandiser!!! Laura will be working her way around our gorgeous little boutiques and working her magic to make the shops look even more fantastic than they already do.

You might have seen our Teddy Boys post yesterday with the Creepers, so today we're giving you the Teddy Girls equivalent with Winklepickers. If you are after this 1950's punk look ladies..pointy shoes are the way forward. These are only available at our Camden Store.

Let's Creep

If you've not noticed the massive Creeper trend going on, then you must have been walking around with your eyes closed. They are huge...and we mean HUGE. If you want to be part of the latest Teddy Boy and Mod trend then these Creeper shoes are a must. Creepers found their beginning in the years following WW2 after the thick sole prooved well for the army boys in the hot desert. Following their praticality during the war, the 50's brought the revival of Creepers, with droves of fellas picking up on the trend, thus the Teddy Boy's were born. Quiffs, Drainpipe jeans and Creepers were staple.

And guess what...they are back with just as much kick ass attitude as they did in the 50's.

Last night we had a wonderful Author gathering to say goodbye to the lovely Renee. She's back off to sunny Aussie land and leaving us for pastures new. Good Luck Ren...we will miss you.
