I just wanted to stop by and say thank you. You see, I was in England the other day - during my Easter break (I'm from Iceland). One of my many missions in the trip was to find your store and buy a pair of Dr.Martens platforms. So, I came to your store at Charing Cross Road and the people working there were lovely. One dark haired girl and a boy wearing a orange t-shirt were so helpful and friendly. It turned out that they didn't have that pair anymore but the girl made a phone call to the next store, in Camden, and asked them if they had them in my size - which they did. So her and the guy gave me directions and I was on my way. When I got to the Camden store the two girls working there were lovely as well, helped me find the right side and were just, really friendly. I bought the shoes (love them) and went back the same way I came. I stopped by at Charing Cross Road again, to tell them that this was a success - I guess, and just.. yes. Also, I got to use their bathroom - which was really nice of them.
ReplyDeleteI guess I just wanted to say thank you, because I really appreciated it, and they should know that they're doing something right;) I don't know their names, all I know is that in the afternoon of April 26th, they were working. So..kudos.
